I was just rereading and noticed something:

You could always ask nicely. :)
Just for one?
Perhaps you might need it in a tunnel or something...
How did you call that, Boingo? :P

If sublevel wrote that, he would say that it was just in his nature (evil psychic karma bunny) to do it. :)

Nah. Just coinkidink.

"We come in peace," Taruka and Traskarz can probably explain our situation better.
Don't forget to mention that you were trapped in that craft that crashed in the first place.
60: We come in peace.
Soldier on your left: That didn't answer my question, that's all you have you say?
Traskarz: We were from the nearby portal facility that got attacked by Alpan forces. The four of us managed to make it out before the main Alpan army arrived there.
60: But the aircraft we used to escape got shot down before we could arrive here.
Soldier on your right: I see, you may enter.
The soldier on your right turns around and presses a button, opening the door behind them:

Follow them if they tell you to follow.

Follow them if they tell you to follow.
They don't tell you to follow. They just stand there.
Soldier on your left: What are you waiting for? I take it you have better things to do than just stand there, right?
60: ...
Anyway, the four of you walk inside.

You see a closed door in front of you and some charts on the wall on your right.

Examine the charts and the panel on the right of the door.

Examine the charts and the panel on the right of the door.
You examine the charts;
the left one;

It appears to be a topological map.
Then you examine the right one:

You notice that a small area of the chart is coloured green.
Next you look at the panel on the right of the door:

You see buttons on it.

Press one of the buttons
Balance is imperative; without it, total collapse and destruction is imminent.

Press one of the buttons
You press the top button:

It changes colour slightly, but nothing else happens.
Meanwhile, Traskarz asks:
Traskarz: So, what do you plan to do, coming here?
60: I'm supposed to meet a group of Tronvans, and I know that two of them are called Hygen and Ilsva. Apart from that, I don't know.
Taruka: Hygen? I know where he is.
