Didn't the robots have some sort of night vision in the previous chapter?
60: Take out the glowing gem thingy and see if that creates enough light to continue (maybe walk in a few meters just to lessen the outside light?)
First you walk a few metres into the tunnel to test your night vision:

Taruka: Hey, what are you doing in there?
60: Just testing something.
Then you take out your glowing gem thingy:

So, you want to go in with light, or not?

We shall move onwards (with a glowing crystal off course)

Just then, the rest of the group appears, with Snarr also carrying his crystal"

Taruka: Oh, so you have a light too. Ok, let's go.
The four of you move on, until you reach the end of the tunnel, where it opens up into a room with soldiers:

Soldier on your left: Stop. Who are you?

Cliche, but "We come in peace," Taruka and Traskarz can probably explain our situation better.

Don't forget to mention that you were trapped in that craft that crashed in the first place.
