He usually is very busy. I remember some stretches back on PF when he would go almost a month without logging in. And I don't blame him, either. He wants to make games, not babysit a forum and delete spam.
I'm not arguing that point at all, that's his livelihood, that's what he's supposed to be doing. But has there ever been a time where there'd be all this Spam and no one cleaned it up? I'm not blaming anybody here, I'm asking because it's very curious that, for example, he didn't assign DR or SG or Arkla/Chaos as a Mod yet, then went back to his job.

Edit:
Not too sure why he didn't implement the captcha either...perhaps he is going on the assumption that a new forum will take a while for spambots to find...but still, shouldn't he be preparing for their inevitable arrival somehow?
Exactly. I would be hoping the same thing - Spambots wouldn't find this Forum immediately - but I figured, with a new Forum, the change of Forums would install a change in security procedure. I thought that was the point of moving here.

That is EXACTLY the point I was trying to make. :P Obviously, spam is still getting through. Disabling links is just going to tick off forum users and will eventually be circumnavigated by the spambots. Mateusz doesn't have the time to deal with it...(if he did, that would be a different story)...so why hasn't he appointed at least one mod? (Back when I joined PF, Death was the only mod...and things were fine. Heck, we didn't even have the power to edit our own posts back then, and things were still fine. No spam, no disabled links, no nothing.)

Wow. Well, from what DR said, maybe it was in this thread a few days ago, Mateusz told him that he'd wait to assign Mods when spam got out of hand. Well, spam's out of hand, so....What happened? That's my question.

I don't know if anyone's told Mateusz about this spam issue or if he knows, that's another thing.

Exactly, Mateusz wouldn't be able to keep an eye on the spam problem because he has better things to do with his time.
Maybe us, as the everyday forum members, should petition to have at least one mod put in place. Not too sure how else to get his attention that lack of action will result in the rapid destruction of this forum as well...

Yeah, how's our petitioning going to change anything if Mateusz is busy? While it's an idea, and one that I like, I don't know if he'll see it.

Regardless, that new user, "Easzymoro" or whatever - I wouldn't be surprised if he/she/it spam-attacks us soon. Just look at the profile. This is getting ridiculous.

As in a PM petition. Get a bunch of steady and/or longtime PF members to PM him simultaneously about adding a mod.
I may start a thread for this, once finals are over.

And D: That guy's a spambot waiting to happen. Adding to my "foe list"...

Edit: if he isn't a spambot, I'll unadd him later.

LOL. Not that it's a bad idea, but....I never thought of doing that and it working XD It could work nonetheless.

Wouldn't be surprised he's a Spambot though, just look at that profile.

Already done...his profile is pretty much spam. Thus why I foe'd him.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to try.

Exactly.

And yeah, it wouldn't hurt to try, I really hope for our sake it's effective. I could message his PastelStories FaceBook account too, see if that helps.

That could be our backup plan...once again, it would have to be in numbers though.
