Abacus: You are wrong. You forgot this word:
especially
:P

And Sub7 menu music isn't creepy for me. It sounds like "we go to origin of events"

I didn't actually, I was referring to what Gemini said about the menu ambient not the whole game.

I never said it was creepy.

sub7 is a game that has a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere, which is interrupted by some creepy moments.

@Gemini: Well, we can say the same about many games: Sub3 (we all know, why), Sub4 (with mysterious disappearing of teams, desert Lab, first introducing of black void, blood note in 800...), Sub6 ("dangerous" defence systems, turrets, artifical life and computers, desert place that dislikes humans, dead predecessors, Murtaugh's betrayal...).

Again: I can feel creepy atmosphere only in Sub1-4 games. In further games this atmosphere is lost for me. Maybe if we didn't work at Lab after Sub4, if Sub6's defence systems were more dangerous and deadly, etc., then I would feel fear. But I don't.

Well, I can still feel that atmosphere you mention in later games. It's only different, like everything when it evolves. But it's still there. Sub6 is very creepy, more than Sub3. And I found Sub4 not so creepy because we first see signs of human life other than notes.

Anyways this thing is pretty subjective, and not everyone will feel the same. It's not that I don't understand your position, but, quoting Mateusz from this thread,

Incorrect – they don't have a tranquil/peaceful atmosphere, though some may have more of a relaxed one than others.

Sub8 is also creepy in Layers 4, 6 and 7. But Layers 3 and 5 have that tranquil/peacefull atmosphere. Layers 1 and 2 are somewhere.

And I'm alone again...

Well, that is my point.
