Are they getting closer or further away?
Also, give a 360 view of the surroundings.
They seem to be getting closer.

Perhaps you should hide/pretend to be dead, to avoid the aircraft...?
60: Perhaps we should hide or pretend to dead, to avoid the aircraft.
Taruka: Perhaps, but they're probably going to attack the base we were heading to, which is the only way to safety.
Is this my final form?

Taruka: Direct the group to the base, being careful to be out of the sight of the aircraft.

Taruka: I can get us to the base, but do any of you have a map? It'll be a bit hard to get us there without one.

Hand over the map.
You have the map of the area you found back in the underground complex, so you give it to Taruka.
Taruka: Ok, follow me.
Taruka leads the rest of you out of the crash site:

Eventually the four of you arrive at this:

Taruka: This tunnel will lead us to the base without being seen by the enemy aircraft.

(Where are you, Abacus...)

I guess enter the tunnel? Do we need a light to see in there (e.g. it's too dark?)

It seems to have started working again recently.

^ this
Balance is imperative; without it, total collapse and destruction is imminent.

If this problem comes again, I'll make a new thread after this chapter.

You look into the tunnel and see it get's dark after a short distance:

You might need a light to go in the tunnel.

Didn't the robots have some sort of night vision in the previous chapter?

That's not what's causing the problem.

60: Take out the glowing gem thingy and see if that creates enough light to continue (maybe walk in a few meters just to lessen the outside light?)
If it does, walk into the tunnel.
If not, the stage is all yours abacus.
And ^his thing about the night vision...?
