Dr. Eramad continued his scavenging by proceeding to the basement.

Hazi offers to help and decipher the codes with his tome.

Altor shows the group the moon necklace. Then he says "Anyone seen anything similar? I think this isn't the only necklace here."
Knowlegde tells him about his sun necklace. Then, curious, Altor decides to wear both necklaces at the same time, to see what happens.

[Babylon]

Dr Eramad - You pass down the abandoned stair case into the basement. The only light available is that which is streaming through the cracks in the floorboards you saw earlier. Looking around, you seem to be in some kind of wine cellar. Three wooden racks hold a few dusty wine bottles, while a rotten barrel in the corner bears the label 'wine' scrawled on in white paint. On top of the barrel is an envelope, and an few unopened tin cans, possibly of food. On the floor, an ink pen lies discarded in a small groove in the stone. To the left is a bricked up archway, it seems there is no other way into the room behind it.

Altor- Acknowledging Knowledge's warning, you carefully slip the two pendants around your neck. As soon as they touch, you feel a low buzzing, like the air is filled with static electricity. There is an audible crackling, but it soon dies away. Dismissing this for apprehension about the necklace, you realize you are being drawn in by silly folk lore.

Hazi- Using a combination of your tome, and Knowledge's list of codes, the two of you manage to decipher the title of the book. It reads 'On the history of Daymare and the Surrounding Climes. ' No name is present on the cover, but you know by the matching of the symbols that it must be of similar origin to the amulets you found. Flipping through the book, you spot an etching of the area you know stand. It appears to be from a very long time ago, before all of the houses were built. There is the abandoned house, and the one you awoke in, but the other two are not present. The caption reads 'On the district'

Knowledge- You and Hazi decode the book, finding it is titled 'On the history of Daymare and the Surrounding Climes'. After seeing the etching of the place where you are at the moment but in the past, you head to the hut where Worgtex is to give him some food. You give him one piece of food, and he gratefully nods in thanks.

Nruv- You sit on the street, not doing much.

Dr. Eramad examines the envelope hoping it may contain something useful. He shall also take a look at the tin cans and the pen.

[The Kakama]

Taking off the necklaces, Altor sees Hazi and Knowlegde deciphering the book. When Knowlegde leaves, he goes to examine the book.

[Vurn]

Nruv Arte accompanies Eramad in the wine cellar, and takes some of the wine bottles.

[Anteroinen]

Totally captivated by the book, Hazi starts humming the song written in the book. It was truly euphonous to him.

His companions look at him quite confused, but he kept reading and humming the song. The inscriptions were pretty clear, and pretty old. This is clearly a book of very high historic value and looking at the map of the area, possibly pretty important.
