Let the adventure begin then...
Arte and Knowlegde:
Arte pushed the closet:
Strength 4xdice6 =24
Not without an effort, but you managed to push the closet far enough to get access to the basement. As both of you stepped down the ladder you saw:
closed chest (it had simple key lock),
small locker with bread inside (completely molded and stinking, not useful),
bed with dead man laying in it (he have something shiny on his neck)
small roosted crate in the grid, stinking and dark, behind it there is some kind of tunnel, but you are both too big to fit in
Dr. Eramad:
You just continue laying in the corner with empty eyes looking but seeing.
Ozband:
Despite desire to go to the desert you decided too stick to the group searching the city, at least for a while.
Worgtex, Ozband, Altor and Hazi:
As you step out of your safe house you see rest of the settlement. Three buildings in fact.
One looking empty and abandoned,
second surrounded with big quick made fence with spikes on the top, all the doors and windows planked and only one small wicket in the fence, that is closed with only one small hole in it,
third with windows also planked, but doors open and one creature sitting in it, smoking pipe.

Looking at the creature sitting on the creature at the third building, Altor asks, "do you have any food to spare, and can you help us?"
Is this my final form?

Is the shinning thing around the dead guy neck the key to the chest here?
Command: Examine the shining thin on the dead guy neck, and see if he had anything else on him.

He looked at the spiky wicket fence. Nimble and small as he was, he though he might be able to get over the fence and open the gate from the other side; however, the one who made the fence was obviously quite big and strong and while he was a powerful and mighty by the passage men standard, he was not anywhere near as strong as most others in his company. He was hesitant.

The derelict and abandoned house looked pretty big, bigger than the biggest Cloacal Tower in his village, but it wasn't as big as the house behind the fence. It looked empty. Anyone who lived there must've taken everything valuable with them already or died, perhaps, in which case they'd risk contamination. No, that was not Hazi's choice.

Hazi took a look at the creature, who was diligently puffing beautiful rings of smoke into the dry air. Hazi was not a diplomat by nature, but acknowledged that knowing many languages he might be able to converse, if others were unable. The Nook fellow was asking him about food, we'll see soon enough. He started walking towards Nook and the man.

Nruv Arte calls Hazi to examine the tunnel, as his HEIGHT attribute makes it possible for him to enter the opening. Arte also attempts to steal the deceased person's necklace, being watchful, as the dead might just turn out to be actually undead. Then he proceeds to smash the ferruginous crate in the ground.

Dr. Eramad, after careful contemplation of his situation, rose from the corner in which he sat and decided to join the others that were headed for the ruins, which were rumored to exist in the desert. He knew it was not the wisest choice, as a journey through desert sand is not one that is known to conserve food and water, but it could not fail to intrigue him. If the rumors were true then they must surely stumble upon something that would make the journey worthwhile.

As he stepped outside, he saw the others and went to join them.

Worgtex saw the masked guy (Nook was his name?) starting a conversation with the smoker. He didn't know if the creature would be willing to help them, given the situation... but he had his method to influence someone. That skill had saved his life countless times, and now it might be of help. Thus, he walked towards Nook, with the aim to intervene if things got ugly.

He saw Hazi being called by Arte. It looked like they had discovered a small tunnel that people with the usual height couldn't traspass. Well, he thought, if it turned out that Hazi was also unable to pass, he might try to sneak in -after all, he was the shortest member of the group, and his dog-alligator constitution made getting through tunnels and caves an easy task.

ALTOR:
"Do you have any food to spare and can you help us?" you ask.
"Kids these days" answer creature "first of all you should show some respect to older than you, its very unkind to talk with strangers without introduction. What's your name?"
"Altor"
"Good, now we talk, as I understand you aren't going to put this mask off. You need food yes? Good then. Yerka!" Last word was directed to the inside of the building. "Yerka, bring some food to this men"
"In a moment" Said voice from inside the building.
"Remember young warrior, I see diplomacy isn't your good point, but whatever you do and wherever you go-just live and let others live, that will make life easier for everybody"
"Here" said second creature, giving you pot with food
"Thank you" you answer, as you see inside thinks, that people usually give to their animals, remains of meals and little bit tainted vegetables.
"We don't have much, but in this hard times we need to share what we have" says Sharon. "Now please go, I want to continue my meditation"
As you walks to to the rest of the group, you think how strange was this conversation, but you are grateful for help.
KNOWLEGDE:
You are catching shiny object at the same time Nruv tries to. But you're faster, you take it and see it's some kind of necklace. It have sun symbol on it and writing in unknown language. When you put it on, you suddenly feel cold, but you think it's just normal thing in this underground shelter. In one of the man's pockets you find key, that you use to open the chest. You find nothing but old clothes, rotten food... and some money. Also books in unknown languages, written with big letters and lot of illustrations. Mostly showing children and animals. All smiling and happy. Even sun is smiling there.
HAZI:
As you get closer to the fence you hear voice from behind it.
"Don't come any closer I warn you, I have a crossbow here and I will not hesitate before making hole in you!"
You want to answer something, nut you hear Nruv shouting something from building you were camping inside.
When you come there, you see Nruv and Knowlegde in the basement.
"Can you fit in this hole?" asks Nruv.
"I can try"
When you are on the other side you feel better for a moment. Severs... childhood... but then you see bodies of passage people, who died of infection and corridors blocked by rumble. Only thing you found there is little lantern.
Dr. Eramad:
You go to the others, who are on the street. You say them you want to go to the desert. Most of them is skeptical, only Ozband shows enthusiasm, but not enough to stand up.
Ozband and Worgtex
You just sat on the street, contemplating this extremely hot and sunny day.

Hazi examines the lamp and informs Nruv and Knowledge of his findings. It is an ornate little thing.

Take the book, it would be fun and help pass the time trying to decipher the dead language, and the sun necklace. Take the money and run outside where you head the shouting. See if you can stop any bloodshed, ask if the person inside the building with his claim of a "crossbow" and see if we can do business with some of the money that I just found.
