And why we can't move back in time to moment, when Submachine was created, and stop creating of Outer Rim?
Probably we would be given limited access to other times, maybe we wouldn't be able to go back that far.
Because the reason you crate some time machine was to go back and stop the Outer Rim from being created, but that would then create a paradox in the alternate timeline where you would never create the Time machine for the reason of the Outer Rim destruction never existed.
Perhaps someone (or something) did something similar, thus creating the 7 layers, then architects decided to do damage control?
Is this my final form?

There is a difference there. When some created the Time machine for the Purpose or motive to stop something in the Past from happening, it would create a paradox because if that event never happen, you would have no motive to build a time machine.

The Layers are more like how if we wanted to prevent a flood in a city, we would build something Right Now to keep it from happening. Base on this motive that a flood happen already to another city, and you lost someone in that flood.

Perhaps because of the nature of the submachine time travel is in a sense non-linear. I'm evoking the idea that each shift in time results in a parallel universe rather than an actual shift in events. Yes, you can go back and change something, but that just results in more locations rather than a change in the locations that already exist. The time dimension in the subnet seems to function just like the other 3 dimensions in other words, thus creating a time paradox merely adds more depth to the subnet.

Well, we know that in fact time travel can modify the past of things in Submachine (as an example, the process of getting the connection pod from the cube in Sub6). So the idea of bifurcating paths makes sense.

Yeah, that instance feels very controlled though: a room that effects the time state of objects, but not an actual instance of altering the past, thus in that instance at least, no paradox seems likely to happen in any case.

Ok, guys. I propose to begin big serious Submachine investigation to find more answers and to make clearly picture of plot.
We have 8 main games, 3 standalone games and SNEE, and all Mateusz's off-game posts. Who on the forum is good detective, who can combine all pieces of this big mystery - WHAT SUBMACHINE IS?
How many questions, given by Mateusz in game and in this forum (like 12345||678910), can be answered now?
And who can write full list of Submachine questions?

I'm good at discovering things, but you are far more obsessed with Submachine XD so I'd say you could do it. Or maybe Post.
