Is it a tree or a nuke blast?

If it was a nuke blast:
1) All those pretty clouds he talked about wouldn't be there (sonic boom)
2) No grass (Vaporised or Burnt)
4) And since when did they have feet?

You forgot 3) All those lines on the bark of the tree wouldn't be there. The lines would all be going in the same direction.

To be honest, I thought it was a nuke blast at first sight.

Such trees share similarities (in shape) with a nuke blast.

Now, I think I'll draw a nuke blast for contrast.
